#Glimpseingallery - Ketevan Magalashvili's Exhibition at the ATINATI Cultural Center. The ATINATI Cultural Center is presenting an exhibition featuring the eminent Georgian painter and portraitist, Ketevan Magalashvili (1894-1973). The exhibition showcases 19 pieces by Ketevan Magalashvili housed in the private collection of ATINATI. The artist identified herself as a portraitist, however, her work also includes still life and landscape compositions. The show covers a wide range of genres. Furthermore, each work in the ATINATI collection provides valuable insights about the artist's work. To alleviate the monotony in portraiture, the artist meticulously considered the model's body posture, the direction of the look, the position of hands, and the background. Ketevan Magalashvili is a master of light and color directing. In accordance with the psychotype of the depicted individual, she assembled an entourage on the picture plane. The exhibition also features a diverse selection of graphic works that serve as illustrations of the most influential "Nude" style.
